Today for lunch, they brought in some pizza from Zeeks, which, in the words of one of my coworkers, "is probably in my top 10 pizza places in Kirkland." Faint praise indeed. Unfortunately it was impossible to find a pizza with red sauce, no meat, and no olives.

In addition to pizza, they also ordered some salads. I chose to try the "Wild Green" with "organic wild greens, roma tomatoes, gorgonzola & cashews, with Zeeks own superior raspberry vinaigrette".

In addition to some of the salad, I had two moderately-sized pieces of pizza. One was "Sunshine", apparently new, with "sun-dried tomato, artichoke hearts, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and an olive oil glaze". The other was "Frog Belly Green", with "olive oil glaze, mozzarella, Zeeks own basil pesto, topped with roma tomatoes and a sprinkling of parmesan". I'm guessing the olive oil glaze was lower down on the second one?

The weather has been extremely nice here lately, so here's my plate outside, where I was able to eat with a nice view of Lake Washington. The pizza was uninspired. I did have to go back for more of the salad, though. Yum.

And a couple of grapes to sate the sweet tooth.

Here are some of the desserts I turned down, not including the freshly re-stocked ice cream freezer.

I didn't even bother to ask if the pie was banana cream or coconut cream.
